Job Summary
nLabor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) Located in Wichita, KS. This position involves providing compassionate and skilled nursing care to high-risk obstetric patients within a hospital setting. The role offers an opportunity to work with a well-established team using advanced equipment and technology to support maternal and fetal health.
nJob Details
nnCertifications, Education Requirements, Degree Requirements, Location Requirements, and Years of Experience: Current hospital Labor and Delivery (L&D) registered nurse (RN) experience of at least 1 year; BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); appropriate licensure for Kansas
nSchedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
nAdditional Job Responsibilities: Provide care for high-risk labor patients, including C-sections, inductions, and monitoring using equipment such as Alaris pumps, PCA pumps, Monica Novii telemetry, and CPN (GE) monitors. Support a team nursing approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
nPreferred Qualifications: Experience with circulating C-sections, high-risk labor and delivery, and labor induction procedures is advantageous. Familiarity with Oxytocin policy and advanced obstetric procedures is preferred.
