Job Summary
nLabor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Community Hospital of Anaconda. This position involves providing specialized care in labor and delivery, postpartum, and obstetric settings. The role requires managing patient needs during various stages of childbirth, including assisting with labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery, primarily during night shifts with periodic call responsibilities.
nJob Details
nnCertifications, Education, and Experience: Current Montana nursing license or qualifying compact license; BLS, ACLS, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and intermediate level of AWHONN (Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses) certification. Two years of relevant experience in obstetrics, labor and delivery, and postpartum care is required.
nSchedule: 12-hour shifts primarily scheduled at night, with 36 hours per week and 6-8 call shifts every 6-week schedule. Occasional day coverage may be required. Hours will not exceed 4 shifts per week unless mutually agreed upon with the OB Manager.
nResponsibilities: Providing comprehensive labor, delivery, postpartum, and obstetric nursing care, including patient assessments, interventions, and education, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the childbirth process.
nAdditional Information: Must have experience in both obstetrics and labor & delivery, as well as postpartum care.
