Job Summary
nL&D (Labor and Delivery) Nurse - Location: Michigan. This role involves providing specialized obstetric care for mothers and newborns in a dedicated labor, delivery, and postpartum setting. The position emphasizes compassionate patient care, proficiency in Labor, Delivery, Triage, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Couplet Care, ensuring a positive birthing experience.
nJob Details
nnCertifications: Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN; COVID vaccine required, exemptions allowed.
nEducation and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Obstetrics and Gynecology experience; at least 2 years of relevant work history, with proficiency in LDRP procedures including Labor, Delivery, Triage, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Postpartum Care.
nLicenses: Active Michigan (MI) nursing license, verified via LARA and/or Nursys.
nSchedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
nRequirements: Work history and skills checklist current within 1 year, two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years, and active credentials as specified.
nClinical Responsibilities: Providing high-quality obstetric and postpartum patient care, including labor and delivery management, postpartum care, and newborn care, with clinical proficiency required in all areas listed.
nSubmission Requirements: Candidates must submit documentation verifying licensure, certifications, and relevant work history as specified.
