Job Summary:
nLabor And Delivery Nurse (L&D) in Oshkosh, WI. This position entails providing specialized care for antepartum, postpartum, laboring, and gynecological post-operative patients, primarily those 20 weeks and up. The role involves supporting various patient types and working within a Level III Trauma Center with Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) capabilities and a Primary Stroke Center. The provider will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care during night shifts to meet the needs of the facility's obstetric population.
nJob Details:
nnShift: Nights, 12 hours per shift
nSchedule: Weekend rotation every other weekend, with manager approval for time off (RTO). No on-call obligations. Night before and after major holidays including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are required.
nMinimum Hours Per Week: 36 hours
nStart Date: 10/26/2026
nEnd Date: 01/16/2027
nRequired Qualifications:nnCertifications: BLS (Basic Life Support), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), FHM (Electronic Fetal Heart Monitoring)
nExperience with antepartum, postpartum, laboring, gynecological surgeries, circulating for C-sections, and supporting mother and infant recovery
nEducation and experience: No minimum years of experience specified, but at least 5 years preferred and 0 years minimum experience required for consideration
nLocation: Oshkosh, Wisconsin

nSupport on the Unit:nnCNA: 1:13 support ratio
nOB techs assist as scrubs during C-sections
nCharge nurse: light assignment
nPhlebotomy/RN: responsible for blood draws
nOB-GYN and Midwife on call at night
nOB-CRNA available 24/7 on weekends
nFetal Heart Monitoring conducted at nurses station and bedside
nUnit secretary available

nCharting System/Equipment: EPIC, Alaris, Pyxis, Milktraker, CPN
nOrientation: At least one shift on unit to learn flow
nAdditional Notes:nnScrub color: Procedural blues
nParking: Free on site
nNo floating required
