Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse Night Shift Location unspecified. This position involves providing specialized care for women during childbirth and postpartum recovery within a Level 1 acute care unit. The role supports both maternal and neonatal needs, with an average of 20 deliveries per month, ensuring high-quality, compassionate patient care.
Job Details
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Certifications: BLS (American Heart Association), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE Certification
Education and Experience:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery preferred; candidates must hold a valid license to submit and provide a copy of their unexpired drivers license
Responsibilities:
Manage labor and delivery processes, monitor maternal and fetal well-being, provide postpartum care, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
Certifications: BLS (AHA), NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program), STABLE Certification required
Submission Requirements: Current licensure and a copy of unexpired drivers license necessary for submission
Additional Information: Ensures adherence to safety standards and supports women and their babies until stable or transfer as needed
