Orientation: Mandatory orientation with unit onboarding and competency validationn

Job Requirements
n Current Indiana RN license or compact RN licensen
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experiencen
Intermediate electronic fetal monitoring experience requiredn
BLS certification requiredn
NRP certification requiredn
STABLE certification preferredn
Experience with cervical exams and fetal monitor interpretationn
Familiarity with AWHONN guidelines preferredn
Experience using EPIC charting preferredn
Ability to work every other weekend as neededn
Responsibilities
n Provide skilled nursing care for laboring, postpartum, pre-term, and newborn patientsn
Assist with vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and neonatal resuscitationn
Monitor fetal status and interpret fetal tracings accuratelyn
Support safe, compassionate care for mother-baby coupletsn
Document patient care in EPIC and help maintain an efficient clinical workflown
Use clinical tools and equipment such as fetal monitoring systems, IV pumps, and medication management systemsn
Collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered caren
Float rarely to Med Surg if neededn
