WCS Healthcare Partners is seeking a dedicated and experienced RN to join our Labor & Delivery team in Farmington, CT. Enjoy the vibrant community of Farmington, known for its rich history and beautiful landscapes, while advancing your career in a supportive healthcare setting.Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal contractions, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and child.
Assist in labor and delivery procedures, including cesarean sections, when necessary.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Educate patients and their families on postnatal care and breastfeeding techniques.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.
Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, with a focus on high-risk cases.
Prior OB experience is required.
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NRP are mandatory.
Fetal Monitoring Certification is required.
Experience with the Epic EMR system is preferred.
Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a) and every 3rd weekend.
