Job Requirements
n Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery RN experiencen
Active Registered Nurse licensen
Current ACLS and NRP certificationsn
Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not acceptedn
Strong ability to adapt quickly to a new unit and communicate effectivelyn
Experience with independent IV starts and lab draws from IV startn
Skilled in accurate vaginal exams and labor supportn
Ability to interpret fetal monitor strips according to NICHD guidelinesn
Comfort working with antepartum, laboring, and postpartum patient populationsn
Experience with OR circulation or second RN support preferred, but not requiredn
Responsibilities
n Provide safe, compassionate care to antepartum, laboring, delivery, and postpartum patientsn
Support patients through labor, birth, and recovery using strong clinical judgmentn
Perform fetal monitoring and interpret strips using NICHD guidelinesn
Complete IV starts, lab draws, and other bedside nursing procedures as neededn
Conduct accurate vaginal assessments and communicate patient status changes promptlyn
Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and the interdisciplinary care team to support quality outcomesn
Adapt to unit workflow, ask questions when needed, and contribute to a supportive healthcare teamn
Float to Mother Baby when needed and assist with patient care across the perinatal settingn
Provide second RN support in the OR when appropriate experience is presentn
