Job Summary:
nThe organization is seeking a registered nurse for a float pool position specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) within a women and infants hospital. This role involves working night shifts with a schedule of 36 hours per week across 12-hour shifts. The position requires flexibility to float between units and is focused on providing high-quality patient care in a high-acuity environment for a contractual period.
nJob Details:
nnSchedule: Nights, 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts. Every weekend is required. Flex position with shifts predominantly at night. Contract duration: from 11/02/2026 to 01/02/2027, with no extension available.
nRequired Qualifications: Active RN license (or compact), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association, Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, fetal monitoring certification (required for Labor & Delivery). Minimum 2 years recent Labor and Delivery, Antepartum, or High-Risk Obstetrics experience.
nPreferred Qualifications: Float pool/multi-unit adaptability.
nAdditional Information: Candidates with no time-off requests will be given preference. Vaccinations including flu and COVID-19 are required with no exemptions. Certification requirements include BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring certification. Skills checklist, professional profile, two professional references, and work attestation are required for submission.
