Join a collaborative Labor & Delivery team as a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Provide safe, compassionate maternal-child healthcare throughout the childbirth experience while enjoying a Cape Cod community known for its coastal setting, vibrant downtown, beaches, and outdoor recreation.
Travel Nursing Job Details
n Location: Hyannis, Massachusettsn

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700–$2,840n
Schedule: 36 hours per weekn
Shift: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m.–7:30 a.m.n
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekendn
Holiday Requirement: Rotating holidaysn
Start Date: November 2, 2026n
Contract: 13-week travel nursing assignment ending January 30, 2027n
Work Setting: On-siten
Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse Requirements
n Graduate of an accredited School of Nursingn
At least 1 year of recent Labor & Delivery or obstetric nursing experience; recent OB experience within the past 2 years is requiredn
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusettsn
Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationn
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certificationn
Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificationn
Documented completion of an intermediate or advanced fetal monitoring course within the past 2 yearsn
Successful completion of the required pharmacology examinationn
Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Englishn
BSN preferredn
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification preferredn
Labor & Delivery RN Responsibilities
n Deliver comprehensive Labor & Delivery patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluationn
Assess and document patients’ physical, psychological, and social needs throughout admission, labor, and discharge planningn
Administer medications safely and monitor patient responsesn
Develop and initiate individualized plans of care while communicating pertinent findings to the interdisciplinary care teamn
Provide fetal and maternal monitoring and respond promptly to changes in patient conditionn
Educate patients and families while supporting a positive, respectful childbirth experiencen
Direct and guide ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards and established policiesn
Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities and serve as a resource for patient care, orientation, and staff educationn
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and use nursing information systems effectivelyn
Adhere to patient safety, infection prevention, blood and body fluid, and confidentiality standardsn
Participate in quality improvement activities and ongoing professional developmentn
Provide service excellence to patients, families, visitors, and colleaguesn
