Job Summary
Labor and Delivery Nurse (L&D) The facility is seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery (L&D) nurse to provide high-quality maternal care in a night shift setting. The role involves caring for mothers and newborns, assisting with deliveries, and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for patients during childbirth.
Job Details
Certifications: Valid nursing license, BLS (Basic Life Support), and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certifications required.
Education Requirements: Current RN licensure; no minimum experience required.
Location Requirements: Candidates must have a permanent address outside a 100-mile radius of the facility.
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Position Description: Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery department, assisting with childbirth, monitoring fetal well-being, and coordinating patient education and comfort.
Additional Information: Flu vaccine is required; no exceptions. Up to 3 shifts may be canceled during the assignment without guaranteed hours. Limited requests for time off are permitted, with a maximum of 3 days off per 13-week contract.
