Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care within a Labor and Delivery unit, managing patients through all stages of labor and delivery
Monitor and manage high-risk obstetric conditions including preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
Assess and support patients throughout pregnancy-related complications and interventions
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Cerner electronic health records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe maternal and neonatal outcomes
Fulfill holiday coverage expectations, including 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
AWHONN certification required
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Labor and Delivery
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience managing high-risk obstetric patients including those with preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, and preterm labor
Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Strong clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced Labor and Delivery environment
