Contract | Travel | Days (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care during antepartum, intrapartum, immediate postpartum, and neonatal phases of obstetrical care
Utilize the nursing process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and delivering safe patient care
Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing continuing education
Delegate patient care priorities based on the education and experience of available staff
Float to other units as facility needs require
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; Florida licensure or eligibility required (AHCA compliance required for Florida placements)
Minimum 2 years of experience in Labor & Delivery, postpartum, nursery, and/or Mother/Baby care
Minimum 2 years of prior travel nursing experience
Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications
PALS certification required (may be obtained within 30 days of start date if not currently held)
Preferred Experience / Skills
AWHONN certification (can be completed onsite if not currently held)
Experience floating across multiple obstetrical or women's health units
