Job Requirements
n Active Registered Nurse licensen
BLS certification required prior to first shiftn
ACLS certification required prior to first shift, as applicablen
Minimum 2 years of bedside nursing experience highly desiredn
Experience in LTAC, acute care, med-surg, critical care, or similar clinical settings preferredn
Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skillsn
Ability to work collaboratively in a patient-centered, team-based environmentn
Responsibilities
n Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in accordance with the LTAC care plann
Perform timely patient assessments and help develop individualized plans of caren
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and promptlyn
Support discharge planning and patient/family education from admission through dischargen
Communicate changes in patient status to the interdisciplinary healthcare team to promote continuity of caren
Supervise and support licensed practical nurses, nursing assistants, and orientees as neededn
Promote patient and staff safety by following all policies, procedures, and best practicesn
Contribute to a positive unit culture through teamwork, professionalism, and calm leadershipn
