This 13-week Registered Nurse travel assignment is ideal for an RN who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting recovery, and making a meaningful impact in a Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting. Job Details Position: Registered Nurse (RN) – LTAC Employment Type: Travel Nursing Job Shift: 12-hour nights Duration: 13 weeks Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,890 - $1,990 Start Date: ASAP Setting: Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Location: Battle Creek, MI 49017 Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse license in the applicable state Minimum 1 year of bedside clinical experience required BLS certification required prior to first shift ACLS certification required prior to first shift Strong assessment, documentation, and critical thinking skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment Experience with rehabilitation or long-term acute care patients preferred Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments within the first 8 hours of admission Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care Communicate patient status updates during team conferences and shift handoffs Provide direct patient care using the nursing process and evidence-based practices Support patient and family education related to diagnosis, treatment, and discharge planning Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and interdisciplinary care team members Supervise and delegate appropriately to ancillary nursing staff Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in accordance with policy Promote patient safety, staff safety, and a positive unit culture Contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care from day one Apply now to start your next Michigan nursing job in LTAC and join a supportive healthcare team in Battle Creek today.
