Job description
Overview
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Long Term Care (LTC) for a travel nursing job in Boone, Iowa. This position is a 13-week assignment, traveling with a 37-hour work week, and the shift is 8 hours in the evenings. Employment type: Travel.
Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor residents' conditions and report changes promptly
Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs in daily care activities
Provide wound care, catheter care, and other skilled nursing procedures
Coordinate care with physicians, therapists, and social workers
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Participate in care plan meetings and family conferences
Document nursing care and resident progress accurately and timely
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
Qualifications
At least 1 year of RN experience in a Long-Term Care (LTC) or Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF)
Current BLS certification
Eligible for State licensure
ACLS and additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment
