Job Summary
Long Term Care (LTC) registered nurse position in Aspirus Medford Care and Rehab. This role involves providing quality nursing care to residents across two units, including short-term and long-term patients. The position offers a dynamic work environment with diverse clinical responsibilities.

Schedule: 8-hour shifts, 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications:
Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license, BLS (American Heart Association or ARC certifications), Associate Degree or Certificate, 2+ years of previous experience in skilled nursing or long-term care settings, strong medication administration skills, and experience with electronic charting (ECS is not required but training will be provided).
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
Float: Float rotation may be required, with the ability to float to short-term, long-term, and Community-Based Residential Facility (CBRF) units.
Additional Information: The assignment begins on 11/02/2026 and extends through 01/30/2027, for a duration of approximately 13 weeks.
Must work every other holiday and weekend as part of the rotation.
The facility requires staff to be outside a 50-mile radius of the location to qualify, with this rule expiring on 10/23.
Travelers may be scheduled on call for low census hours, which will count toward unbillable hours; call back pay is provided if called back to the facility, with a minimum of 2 hours.
During flu season, unvaccinated travelers are required to wear masks at all times, with no exceptions.
