About the Position
nWe are seeking a skilled Labor and Delivery Recovery Postpartum (LDRP) Registered Nurse to join our team. This position involves providing compassionate care to patients during labor and postpartum recovery.
Shift Details
n 3x12 hour shifts, Days (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM)
Weekend Requirement: Every third weekend
On-call Requirement: Yes, two 12-hour shifts in a 6-week period
n Patient Ratios
n 1:2, 1:1, and 1:3 Couplets
n Required Qualifications
n Minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience
Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license
Certifications: n BLS
ACLS
AWHONN Beginner
AWHONN Intermediate
FHM
NRP
Preferred Certifications: n AWHONN Advanced
STABLE
Skills and Case Experience: n Couplet Care
High-Risk OB
Experience with Epic charting system
n Miscellaneous Information
n Block Scheduling: Requires manager's approval based on unit needs
Local Radius: 60 miles; no locals accepted
All RTO (Request Time Off) must be included at time of submission; approval based on facility needs
Guaranteed Hours: Facility is allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

n Hurricane Season
nTravelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June to November), all employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response teams. Please take this into consideration when scheduling any assignments during this period, particularly during the peak months of August and September.
