HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN Maternal - Newborn for a travel nursing job in Thousand Oaks, California.

General Information
Number of Beds: 24
Number of Staff – 42 total
Type of staff
Day Shift – (1 CNC/Charge RN, 3 RNs, Nursery RN, Lactation RN (6 hours), Meal Break RN) all RN staff; no ancillary support
Night Shift – Same as above
Patient Ratios – 1:4 couplets
Type of equipment – Alaris IV pumps, vital sign machines, blanket warmer, phototherapy
EMR – Centricity perinatal/Meditech
Typical Hiring Profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have: Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.
RN License
Nursery and Postpartum experience
BLS, NRP Certifications
Preferred or nice to have:
Lactation support
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
Newborn circumcisions (NSY)
Occasional blood patch by Anesthesia
Blood transfusion
Best personality Fit:
Team player that multi-tasks well
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:
BLS, NRP
Floating Area(s):
NICU with previous experience with feeder/grower infants
Dress Code:
Scrub Color/Attire - Navy Blue Scrub Top and Navy Blue Scrub Pants, Navy Blue Jacket

Weekends and On call (if any)
Weekends – 3-4/month schedule period
Available on call or extra shifts
