Job Overview
MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for assignment in Tyler, Texas.
Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 07/13/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Hours: 36 per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel
Responsibilities
Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures.
Attend to patients receiving pharmaceutical treatment to manage illness.
Complete assignments made by physicians.
Provide routine treatment and post-surgical care.
Assess changes in patient health status and perform various treatments.
Administer medication.
Maintain meticulous documentation of medication and treatment administration to ensure continuity of care between nursing staff, physicians and other team members.
Qualifications
Active RN License.
Degree from an accredited nursing program.
BLS certification.
At least 18 months of recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting.
Additional client-specific requirements will be determined by the facility.
