Overview
TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Job Description & Requirements
Responsibilities
Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre- and post-operative patients.
Prepare, administer and record prescribed medications, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
Prepare equipment and aid the physician during examination and treatment of patients.
Educate patients on surgical procedures.
Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plans as prescribed by physicians.

1-2 years of recent acute care experience preferred.
