Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical. This position provides comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical setting. The role requires strong clinical skills, including intravenous access, urinary catheterization, nasogastric tube insertion, electrocardiogram performance, and heparin drip management.
Job Details
Schedule: 7:00 p.m.7:00 a.m., 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
Assignment Dates: 11/09/ /08/2027.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of experience and completion of at least 1 travel assignment; required certifications include National Institutes of Health (NIH), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS).
Additional Information: Clinical responsibilities include starting intravenous lines, inserting Foley catheters and nasogastric tubes, performing electrocardiograms, and managing heparin drips. Experience with a 1:6 patient ratio and high patient turnover is preferred.
