Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Floor RN in en_US Located in en_US This role involves providing high-quality nursing care on a Medical Surgical unit, with opportunities to float to various Med-Surg units including Stroke, Oncology, Cardiac, Observation, and Emergency Department/Med-Surg boarders. The RN will work primarily on the 4 West Comprehensive Medical Unit, supporting patient recovery and safety within a dynamic hospital environment.
Job Details:
Position: Medical Surgical Floor RN
Specialty: Medical Surgical Floor (MS)
Location: en_US
Schedule: Day shift (7:00 a.m. 7:30 p.m.) with every other weekend required, 36 hours per week.
Certification and Education Requirements: Active Basic Life Support (BLS), minimum of 3 years recent/current Telemetry and/or Stepdown experience, proficiency in Epic Electronic Medical Record system (refresher classes or one-on-one sitters are not options).
Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, current BLS certification, minimum of 3 years of recent Telemetry or Stepdown experience, Epic EMR proficiency, and the ability to read Telemetry (competency test on day one).
Responsibilities include providing patient care on a Medical Surgical unit, supporting float to other units as needed, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.
Additional Information: The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 36 hours per 13-week contract. All requested time off must be disclosed at the time of submission and included in the confirmation to be honored. The position start date is 11/16/2026, with an end date of 02/15/2027.
