Health Saviours is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in New Braunfels, Texas.
Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Med Surg

Duration: 13 weeks
36 hours per week
Shift: 12 hours, nights
Employment Type: Travel
SHIFT: NIGHTS 7P-7A
Type of patients on the unit: medical/ typical med pts and surgical.
Joint replacements, general abdominal surgeries, spinal surgery.
All adult, no pediatrics
Summary:
The competent Nurse, in the same or similar clinical setting, practices independently and demonstrates an awareness of all relevant aspects of a situation.
Provides routine and complex care, with the ability to on long-range goals or plans.
Continues to develop the ability to cope with and manage contingencies of clinical nursing.
Makes appropriate assignments and delegates to other care providers as a means to help manage the clinical situation.
Job Requirements:
Education/Skills
Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing.
Experience
1 year of experience in the Med-surg unit
Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications
BLS required (AHA only)
NIHSS
RN License in state of TX or compact
