Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Medical Surgical (MS) on the Medical Surgical Floor. This position involves providing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, performing health teaching and counseling, executing delegated medical functions, and ensuring proper documentation to support patient well-being.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 1900 to 0730, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing (ASN required; Bachelor's degree preferred). - Current RN license in the state of practice. - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association. - A minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Previous experience as a Registered Nurse is preferred. - Certification relevant to the unit or service is preferred.
