General Information
Number of Beds : Ortho has 30 beds, Med Surg has 37
Patient Ratios : Usually 6:1
Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : We utilize PCTs and SNE’s in our tech role, and we have a US during the day shift hours.
Type of equipment :
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: Schedules are in a month increment (4 weeks), full time must work 4 weekend shifts (ex: 3 Saturdays and 1 Sunday, etc.).
Floating policy: We float to inpatient units to take patients, float with tasks in CCU and ED
Patient Experience requirements: All levels welcome to applyHospital Specifics-
Certifications: BLSHiring profileRequested Skill Set: RN, LPN, PCT
Must have:
Positive attitude, be willing to work hard, manage a patient load, utilize team work strategies and utmost provide patient centered patient care.
Advanced skills needed:
Procedures performed on unit:
Some MD’s will do bedside procedures, not as common as in CCU/ED
Certifications Required: BLS
