PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Winston-Salem, North Carolina.

RN - MedSurg/Tele Travel Winston-Salem, NC Assignment Overview Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specialized in MedSurg/Telemetry for a travel assignment in Winston-Salem, NC. The ideal candidate will have significant MedSurg experience and be comfortable working in a transitional care setting. This role involves caring for patients with diverse medical conditions as well as potential surgical cases.

Responsibilities Care for patients with CHF, COPD, kidney/liver/GI/respiratory issues, CIWA patients, and other infections and wounds
Perform tracheostomy care, chest tube management, IV starts, wound care, dressing changes, and manage wound vacs
Interpret cardiac rhythms and handle non-titrating drips such as Heparin, Lasix, and Protonix
Qualifications Required:
Current RN license
BLS and ACLS certifications
2 years of MedSurg experience
Skills in cardiac rhythm interpretation, trachs, chest tubes, and IV starts
Preferred:
Experience with non-titrating drips such as Cardizem and Amiodarone
PEL/VIP Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
