Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Medical Surgical Registered Nurse to join a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) team for a 13‑week travel assignment. The ideal candidate is adaptable, team‑oriented, and comfortable working in a rural healthcare setting where flexibility and collaboration are essential.
This role requires a strong Med Surg background and a willingness to assist in the Emergency Department when needed.

Schedule: Full-Time
Shift: Nights
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Critical Access Hospital Setting
Requirements
Active Kansas RN License or Multistate Compact License
AHA BLS Certification
AHA ACLS Certification
Recent Medical Surgical nursing experience required
Critical Access Hospital (CAH) experience preferred
Strong IV medication administration skills
Must be willing to assist in the Emergency Department as needed
Responsibilities
Provide safe and effective nursing care to Medical Surgical patients.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoring.
Administer IV medications and treatments according to physician orders.
Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.
Assist with Emergency Department patient care when required.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
Support a team‑focused care environment.
