PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Macon, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg/Tele | Location Assignment Overview We are seeking a skilled RN with MedSurg/Tele experience to join our team in a dynamic unit with various patient types, including orthopedic trauma and post-op surgical cases. Ideal candidates will have robust clinical skills suitable for a Level 1 Trauma Center and the ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team. Assignment Details Start Date: Immediate Shift: 12-hour shifts, 7A-7P or 7P-7A Weekend Rotation: 5-6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable) Charting System: EPIC Floating: Required within all adult med surg/telemetry units Scrub Color: RN- Navy Responsibilities Provide comprehensive patient care in MedSurg/Tele unit Manage trach care, chest tube management, and PIV starts Conduct cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams Implement discharge planning and patient education Handle wound care and post-op monitoring Qualifications Required: BLS Certification 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience Proficiency in EKG competency exam Strong clinical assessment and med-surg nursing skills Preferred: ACLS Certification National certification in Medical-surgical or Nephrology nursing PEL/VIP Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
