PEL/VIP is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Macon, Georgia. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 12 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel RN - MedSurg/Tele | Travel | City, State Assignment Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse for a Travel assignment in a high-acuity MedSurg/Tele unit. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical assessment skills and experience in a Level 1 Trauma Hospital, comfortable with handling a diverse range of patient cases including post-op surgeries and chronic diseases. Assignment Details Start Date: Not provided Shift Details: 12-hour shifts, 7A-7P or 7P-7A Assignment Length: Not provided Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2160 (negotiable) Local Candidate Policy: Not provided Number of Openings: Not provided Charting System: EPIC Responsibilities Provide patient care for orthopedic, trauma, and post-op cases Monitor and interpret telemetry readings Administer medication and manage IV drips Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams Perform discharge planning and patient education Execute trach care, chest tube management, and wound care Qualifications Required: 2 years of Med/Tele RN experience BLS certification EKG competency (BCR) Proficiency in clinical assessment, IV insertion, and cardiac monitoring Preferred: ACLS certification Medical-surgical or Nephrology nursing certification Job Type Travel PEL/VIP Job ID . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
