Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor (MS) specialty nurse located in Rockford. This position involves providing patient care on a medical-surgical unit with a daytime schedule from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with no weekend or holiday coverage. The role requires maintaining clinical competence in managing adult medical-surgical patients.
Job Details
Schedule: Days shift, 8 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
Required Qualifications
Valid Illinois license (Il Lic.), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and at least 0 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a surgical or general medical unit is advantageous
Float
Float rotation may be required
Additional Information
The position is located at a healthcare providers clinic in Rockford, with a 50-mile radius rule in place for candidate consideration. The assignment is scheduled to start on 10/05/2026 and end on 01/02/2027.
