Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Quinter, Kansas.

Candidates residing within 50-100 miles of the facility may be subject to a reduced rate or may not be accepted.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with an average 1:3 patient ratio
Support postpartum patients at a 1:1 patient ratio as needed
Utilize CPSI and Perigen electronic charting systems for documentation
Occasionally assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as needed
Adhere to facility dress code; any color scrubs are acceptable
Required QualificationsActive Kansas or Multistate RN license required at time of submission
BLS, ACLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring Certification, and NRP required - BLS, ACLS, and NRP must be issued through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Previous experience in a Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting required
Postpartum nursing experience required
Flu vaccine strongly preferred; religious and medical exemptions are accepted, though unvaccinated staff may be required to wear a mask during flu season
Local travelers are welcome and considered at the same rate as traveling candidates
Preferred Experience / SkillsPrevious travel nursing experience preferred
Familiarity with CPSI and/or Perigen charting systems
Comfort working in a small, rural hospital environment with a varied patient census
