American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Description
American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Surgical Med/Surg unit with required post-surgical care experience and Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma background.
Unit and Responsibilities
32-bed Surgical Unit in a hospital setting, shared with a PCU
Post-surgical patient population including vascular, thoracic, colorectal, and general surgery cases
RN-to-patient ratio is 4:1 on days and 5:1 on nights
LNA-to-patient ratio is 1:7-11
Floating to other units is expected
Requirements
Active NH or Compact RN license required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma setting
Post-surgical nursing experience required, including vascular, thoracic, colorectal, and general surgery patients
Experience with chest tubes, drains, and lines for post-surgical patients required
Experience managing IV drips including Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, and amiodarone required
Experience with trachs and laryngectomies required
Telemetry experience required
Complex wound care experience required
Central line care, maintenance, and blood draw experience required
Two manager references required for consideration
Additional Information
Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
