Job Summary
Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Surgical Floor in the specified location. This role involves providing patient care within a Level II Trauma center on a 4x12 Days shift. The position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience, with a focus on acute care, telemetry, and gastrointestinal and genitourinary management.

Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: BLS certification; active Illinois license or in application process with ETA; at least 2 years of experience in a similar setting; Med/Surg experience required; Telemetry, GI, GU, IV therapy, medication administration, respiratory management skills; Cerner charting experience.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cardiac monitoring, gastrointestinal procedures, renal failure management, and trauma.
Additional Information: Candidate must have experience with isolation precautions, wound care, and use of rapid response teams. The facility is an acute care hospital with 372 staffed beds, and the assignment begins October 19, 2026, and ends January 18, 2027. Floating within scope is required as needed, and discussions regarding block scheduling are encouraged.
Submission Requirements: Candidates must review and understand role responsibilities, confirm housing can be secured, and provide SSN and DOB at submission. Candidates must be pre-closed at the time of submission, with confirmed availability for interviews, start date, and RTO requests.
