Job Details
Location: Wausau, WI
Position Description: Aspirus Wausau Hospital MAP RN for a 13-week assignment starting on 11/30/26 with guaranteed hours of 48 per week.
Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, minimum of 48 hours per week.
Certifications and Education: WI RN License, BLS- AHA or ARC, Associate Degree or Certificate required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; trauma level II experience highly preferred.
Charting Experience: EPIC required.
Unit Information: The Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) unit manages adult patients with respiratory, neurological, gastrointestinal, renal, infectious, and other acute conditions. Typical patient ratios are 1:4-5 during days and 1:6-7 at night.
Additional Requirements: Ability to manage change, work independently, collaborate effectively, and maintain a positive attitude.
Schedule Notes: Night shifts, every other holiday.
Other Notes: Unit may require float to inpatient units as needed. During flu season, masks are required for unvaccinated travelers.
