Norton Sound Health Corporation is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Obstetrics team in Nome, Alaska. The RN provides high-quality care to mothers and newborns throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care.
Responsibilities:
Monitor maternal and fetal wellbeing.
Assist with labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
Provide newborn assessments and patient education.
Respond to obstetric emergencies and maintain accurate documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
Qualifications:
Current RN license.
BLS and NRP certifications required.
OB/Labor & Delivery experience preferred.
Strong clinical, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
