Job Requirements
n Active Alabama RN license or compact RN license in hand at time of submissionn
Minimum 1 year of recent registered nurse experience requiredn
Previous travel nursing experience requiredn
Experience working in large healthcare facilities preferredn
ACLS and BLS certifications requiredn
Strong med/surg telemetry experience requiredn
Proficiency with IV drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodaronen
Ability to work night shifts and support weekend coveragen
Traveler must live at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates are not acceptedn
Responsibilities
n Provide high-quality bedside nursing care for adult and geriatric telemetry patientsn
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to telemetry changesn
Administer and manage IV drips and other ordered treatmentsn
Maintain safe patient care within ratios of up to 1:6-7n
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver coordinated patient caren
Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accuratelyn
Support a fast-paced med/surg environment while promoting patient safety and teamworkn
