TravelJob Summary:Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS/Tele) registered nurse position in a magnet and level II trauma facility located in a community hospital setting. This 13- or 26-week assignment offers night shifts with a focus on adult and geriatric patient care, utilizing a co-care/virtual nursing model. The role involves providing specialized care for patients undergoing various surgical procedures and with complex medical diagnoses.Job Details:Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per weekRequired Qualifications: Valid state license (AK RN license in hand or pending license acceptable for screening), Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 1 year of clinical experience, good patient ratio experience with 5-6 patients, charting experience with any system, and skills including interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, use of rapid response/code teams, peripheral line management, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions/PPEPreferred Qualifications: Not specifiedFloat: Float to like units as needed to meet facility needsAdditional Information: The unit utilizes a co-care/virtual nursing model involving bedside RNs, virtual RNs, and CNAs with patient ratios of 6:1 for bedside staff and virtual RNs assisting with admissions, discharges, and documentation. The assignment begins ASAP, with all RTO requests included in submittal and approved individually. Candidates are required to work three of the five holidays with advanced scheduling requests.Submission Requirements: Include two references covering 1 year (6 months for CNAs) within the last 3 years, and provide responses to work at a Providence facility if applicable.
