Travel Medical Telemetry / IMC RN | Portland, ME
Maine Medical Center is seeking an RN for Bean 5, a 43-bed Medical Telemetry and Intermediate Care unit. This opening provides leave coverage.
Shift: Days or nights; 36 guaranteed hours per week
Experience: 1–2 years minimum
Certification: BLS
Call: None
EHR: Epic
Floating: Based on unit needs and RN skills. IMC nurses may float to another IMC unit or Med/Surg; Med/Surg nurses may float to a comparable Med/Surg unit.
Patient ratios: Med/Surg is 1:4–5 on days and 1:5–6 on nights. IMC is 1:3 on both shifts.
All RNs need tracheostomy care and telemetry strip interpretation experience; IMC RNs also need ventilator experience. Equipment includes ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, PCA and epidural pumps, wound VACs and specialty beds.
