Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Weekend rotation and holidays as needed
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census
Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
Participate in weekend rotation and holiday coverage as required
Required Qualifications
Active RN license required
BLS certification required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
Minimum 2 years of experience in Neuro Medical Surgical / Telemetry
Inpatient RN travelers must have two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty being submitted to
Epic EMR experience required
Must pass a Telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric components; passing score of 80% or higher with strict criteria for lethal rhythm identification; up to three attempts permitted under compliance guidelines)
Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring in both adult and pediatric populations
Experience working in a high-acuity referral or teaching hospital setting
