Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Days | 3x12 shifts | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients — including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of individualized patient care plans
Utilize the nursing process to diagnose and treat human responses to health problems across an entire episode of care
Demonstrate cognitive and psychosocial competency appropriate to the patient population served, meeting unit/department age-specific competency standards
Coordinate care with interdisciplinary professionals and incorporate family or significant others into assessment and intervention efforts as appropriate
Float to other areas of the organization up to competency level as needed based on department needs; schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some call shifts
Expected to pick up one additional shift per schedule period
Required Qualifications
Active Nevada RN license required prior to start
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must pass a telemetry competency exam, including identifying and measuring telemetry rhythm strips
Minimum 2+ years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
Prior travel nursing experience of at least one completed 13-week assignment required
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience caring for complex patient populations in a high-volume acute care or trauma-affiliated environment
Familiarity with robotic surgery, neurosciences, cardiac, or oncology service lines
Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced hospital setting
