Job Title
Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse – Nights
Location
Aberdeen, WA | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (18:45–07:15) | Expected 36 hours/week | Every other weekend off | Opportunity to pick up extra shifts
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit during night shift hours
Collaborate as a team player within the unit and across departments
Float to other departments on a rotation basis as needed
Utilize electronic health record systems; experience with Meditech is helpful
Adhere to all facility protocols, safety standards, and patient care guidelines
Required Qualifications
Current Washington State RN license or a Multistate Compact RN license (accepted with required verifications)
Verification of demographics through Nursys required
Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training required
Current BLS certification required
Current ACLS certification required
NIHSS certification required
Willingness to float to other departments in rotation
All requested time off (RTO) must be pre-approved and scheduled at the end of the contract
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience with Meditech electronic health records
Strong communication and teamwork skills in a fast-paced inpatient environment
Previous Medical/Surgical travel or contract nursing experience
