Contract | Days | Every Other Holiday | 2 out of 6 Weekends Required
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, monitoring patients for responses and adverse reactions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver safe, effective patient care
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or a qualifying compact state
Experience in a Medical Surgical setting
Current BLS certification
Ability to work day shift, including 2 out of every 6 weekends and every other holiday
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior travel or contract nursing experience
Strong critical thinking and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems
