Travel RN – Medical/Surgical (Nights)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Rotating Weekends | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical unit serving adult and geriatric populations (ages 18+) with a patient ratio of 5:1 to 6:1
Utilize telemetry monitors, Baxter IV pumps, Kangaroo pumps, bladder scanners, and Dynamaps as part of routine care
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Cerner EHR
Apply critical thinking and decisive judgment to manage care in a fast-paced, stressful environment with minimal supervision
Float occasionally to like units as needed
Maintain compliance with facility dress code, hand hygiene policy, and all unit-specific protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Michigan RN State License required
ACLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of RN experience
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
Expected weekly hours: 36
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
Preferred Experience / Skills
Prior experience on a Medical/Surgical unit strongly preferred
Familiarity with Cerner EHR
Experience caring for adult and geriatric patient populations
