Job Title
Travel RN – Telemetry (Nights)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 13 Weeks | 3 shifts per week, every 3rd weekend required | 48 hours guaranteed preferred
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care on a 25-bed Med Telemetry unit serving renal, urology, oncology, pulmonology, cardiology, and general med-surg patient populations with a 4–5:1 patient ratio
Maintain strict documentation compliance related to central lines, Foley catheters, C. diff, and other HAI prevention protocols
Utilize unit equipment including EKG machines, bladder scanners, Hoyer lifts, hover mats, Alaris pumps, and Pyxis; document in Meditech EBCD
Participate in Nurse Leader Rounds, including pre- and post-rounds focused on patient experience, safety, and quality measures
Maintain room tidiness, whiteboard accuracy, and adherence to safety and quality standards in alignment with unit expectations
Float to like units (Ortho, Neuro, CCU, CDU, SSU, Obs, Rehab) as needed per floating policy
Required Qualifications
Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
ACLS certification required
BLS certification required
Basic Dysrhythmia certification required
Minimum 1 year of RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with telemetry or med-surg patient populations including renal, urology, oncology, or cardiology
Familiarity with Meditech EBCD documentation system
Experience with HAI prevention protocols including central line and Foley catheter care
Team-oriented mindset with a strong focus on patient safety, quality, and communication
