Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical Surgical (Nights)
Location
Vicksburg, MS | Acute Care
Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) with rotating weekends
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit during night shift hours
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients
Monitor and document patient status, responding promptly to changes in condition
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Mississippi
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
Minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical nursing experience
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience with rotating weekend schedules in an acute care setting
Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills in a fast-paced environment
