BLS, NRP, STABLE and SC license
Responsibilities
Provide specialized NICU nursing care for babies 22 weeks gestation and greater, including those with complex diagnoses such as abdominal wall defects, HIE, RDS/RFS, and sepsis.
Manage special procedures including full body cooling, chest tubes, surgical repairs, tracheostomy management, Avastin administration, and laser eye surgeries.
Operate and monitor specialized equipment such as Artic Sun Blanketroll, jet ventilators, HFOV, Draeger ventilators, HFNC, Bubble CPAP, and infusion pumps.
Document patient care and procedures accurately using EPIC system, ensuring at least 1 year of experience with EPIC.
Collaborate with healthcare team members, float to other NICU units or facilities as needed, including weekend coverage and call shifts.
