TNAA TotalMed RN is seeking a travel nurse RN for NICU – Neonatal Intensive Care in Barrington, Illinois.

Required Certifications
RN - ACLS, BLS, NRP
Skills Required
Attend and participate in baby stabilization for 32 weeks and up. Stabilize and prepare transport for under 32 weeks’ gestation newborns

Alaris
Pyxi
Bridge access for donor milk and breast milk administration
Patient Types
Neonates, 32 weeks and up
Patient Ratios
RN: 1:1-3, based on acuity (Day and Night)
General Information
Beds: 10 bays and 1 isolation room
Experience? 2 years preferred
First-time traveler? Upon Review
Support on the Unit
Charge Nurse - may take patient assignment
Receptionist, 24/7 on MBU
Pediatric hospitalist available, 24/7
Neonatologists rounds daily
On call OB 24/7
Phlebotomy to assist with peripheral blood draws
Orientation
At least one shift on unit to learn flow
