Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Oncology for a travel nursing job in Plano, Texas.

Job Summary:
Medical Surgical Oncology Nurse - Nights - Medical City Plano. This role involves providing compassionate patient care in a 30-bed Surgical Oncology unit, with a focus on medication administration, chest tube management, NGT management, and Foley management. The position requires teamwork and adherence to unit policies, with responsibilities during the night shift from 12 hours and a commitment of at least 36 hours per week.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; one year of clinical experience; active licensure and compliance with facility policies.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with chemotherapy administration and IV insertion; excellent communication and empathetic skills; ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Additional Information: Candidates must be able to adhere to attendance policies and work every other weekend or four weekend shifts per month. The unit utilizes equipment such as Baxter pumps, sequential compression device (SCD) machines, Mobilab, and glucometers; operates on Meditech electronic medical records.
