Patient Ratios: 1:6
Unit staffing description: unit secretary on unit from 7 AM - 11 PM
3 CNAs for 33 patients; Charge RN each shift; Clinical Manager and Director
Type of equipment: Electronic white boards, iPhones with iMobile; remote telemetry
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 36 hours and every other weekend as needed
Floating policy: Travelers are first to float
Patient Experience requirements: Hourly rounds on day shift; 2 hour rounds after 9 pm

Certifications: BLS

Must have: The right attitude to put the patients first.
Advanced skills needed: (Not specified)
Procedures performed on unit: Inpatient chemotherapy – given by core nursing staff with ONS chemo training
Certifications Required: Preferred specialty certification – Med Surg, Palliative Care, ONS
Dress Code: Pewter scrubs and white (any combination)
